The smooth way of working with CDs and DVDs

Although mainly iMac G5 users will find Disctop to be extremely cool, it's still a very fancy thing that many will enjoy. I can't wait for an iMac to try this myself.

In order to give you a complete picture here's information directly from the homepage: "Normally when you insert a CD in your Mac it disappears, but where does it go? They simply pop up on your desktop! After installing Disctop, your inserted CD or DVD slides in from the side and neatly fades back into your desktop picture. Now you always know if there's a disc inside, and what type it is."

But that's not all. Within the program you can download audio-CD artwork automatically and set an image for every type of disc inserted. There's even a tutorial with which you can learn how to customize Disctop with your logo.

If you like localized versions of software you'll be glad to know that Disctop has been translated to several languages. Oh yeah, the program is MacOSX 10.4 Tiger compatible.

Did I mention Disctop is free? :)
