Photography - depth of field


iStockphoto hosts another excellent article that teaches something practical. Jodie Coston writes: When you focus your lens on a subject, anything at that same distance from your lens will also be in focus. Things that are closer to or further from the camera lens will gradually - or quickly - get fuzzy.

If you're new to photography and you would like to try something beyond the "point and click" experience than this is one of the basics you should read. It's pretty easy reading backed up with a variety of photos that make things easy to understand.
