Adobe stock photos

Adobe added four new royalty-free image collections available through Adobe Stock Photos. The additional collections, along with increases in existing collections, bring the total number of images to over a whopping 355,000.

This service makes things easy since you can evaluate an image before licensing it by downloading an un-watermarked, low-resolution version right into an Adobe CS 2 application. Adobe Stock Photos is included as a featured service in the following products: Adobe Creative Suite 2 (Standard and Premium editions), Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2 and Adobe GoLive CS2.

Because of the great accessibility I think I'll be seeing many advertisements with the same stock photography in about a year. It does happen now and then but let's face it, CS2 is certainly is most design studios out there and the possibility to cut some work by getting photos this way is always welcome. Go Adobe! :)

To try it out right away just click the Adobe Bridge icon in your CS2 application toolbar, or choose File > Browse, and then look for Adobe Stock Photos in your Favorites panel. Naturally, make sure you're connected to the Internet first, a fast line is recommended.
